Meet Emily Solberg.

Emily Solberg is the kind of Marine Corps spouse who quietly strengthens the entire community around her. Currently stationed in Quantico, Virginia while her husband attends Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS), Emily and her family are preparing for an upcoming PCS to Okinawa, Japan. As a Marine Corps spouse of 10 years, she has dedicated herself to supporting military families and creating meaningful connections wherever she goes.
Emily shows up for others in the small but meaningful ways that matter most. Whether she is welcoming new spouses at her children’s sporting events, delivering coffee or a meal to someone going through a difficult season, or simply checking in to make sure another spouse is doing okay, she understands the unique challenges of military life and the importance of building community. Her thoughtful acts of kindness help make an often unpredictable and isolating lifestyle feel a little more connected and a lot more supportive.

Beyond her unwavering support for her husband and family, Emily is also a teacher, writer, and storyteller who is building a community rooted in honesty, connection, and authenticity. Through her writing, she shares the real joys and challenges of military family life, motherhood, and personal growth, creating space for others to feel seen, understood, and encouraged. Her work has been featured in numerous publications, including Military Families Magazine, Reserve & National Guard Magazine, Parents, Motherly, Scary Mommy, TODAY Parents, and Her View From Home.

Emily’s commitment to service extends beyond her role as a military spouse. She has proudly served in the Army Reserve for 13 years and currently serves in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR), giving her a unique perspective on both military service and military family life.

What sets Emily apart is her ability to make people feel valued and supported. Her kindness, steadiness, and genuine care for others leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Through her actions, words, and service, Emily embodies what it means to support, uplift, and strengthen those around her.
