Marine Corps School Liaison Program

The School Liaison Officer acts as the primary point of contact for transitioning families within the military community to build sustainable partnerships in education. Each installation will have a school liaison to assist with education issues and questions related to public, private, DoDEA and home-schooled students.

Fee assistance program helping to keep affordable child care in reach for eligible families.

Tutor.com – Military

No-cost, online tutoring and homework help provided by expert tutors to military families across 150+ subjects, including bilingual options.

Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH)

BAH is additional pay to help service members pay for housing based on housing costs in the local civilian market when government quarters are not provided. BAH is determined by rank, location, and number of dependents.

Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Fellowships

Provides military spouses with professional training, networking, and hands-on experience in the civilian workforce through professional development and direct connection to local employers.

Military Spouse Career Coach Program

Developed by career military spouses in key industries and professional communication experts to offer an engaging training program that highlights the unique and overlooked challenges that military spouses face. This program is designed to help military spouses establish their professional identity to gain the confidence to pursue a meaningful career.

Military Spouse Employment Partnership

The Military Spouse Employment Partnership is an initiative of the Department of Defense’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO) program that aims to help military spouses find jobs. The partnership includes more than 440 partners or military-friendly employers.
