The MARINE Shop has commissioned a beautiful series of paintings designed to grace the homes and offices of active duty and veteran Marines. The paintings, prints, and cards of this collection are a personal means by which the honor, courage, and commitment of Marines everywhere may be commemorated. From reenlistments to change of commands to retirements or even simply reminding a veteran Marine of their time in the Corps, this collection has something for everyone.

Semper Fidelis

“Reflection of Honor”

The second painting in the Sense of Duty Collection is available now in honor of the 246th Marine Corps Birthday. The painting provides a unique depiction of the Corps’ iconic Eagle, Globe, and Anchor and evokes the sense of “sight”. The strength of the Corps, the camaraderie between Marines, and the pride in the birthday celebration are all well represented in this one of a kind painting.

Remembrance of Valor

Remembrance of Valor

Remembrance of Valor is the first painting in the Sense of Duty Collection available exclusively at The MARINE Shop. The painting honors our fallen service members while evoking the sense of “sight”. The image of the Purple Heart medal, the picture of Arlington National Cemetery, and the poppies represent the sacrifice of those who gave their lives for their country.

“There’s no more sacred place I can think of then Arlington.” – Nicole Horn, Artist

Semper Fidelis

“Semper Fidelis”

The painting, Semper Fidelis, was commissioned for the cover of Leatherneck Magazine’s 100th anniversary issue. The painting depicts the ties between the early Marine Corps and today’s Leathernecks. Prints are currently available exclusively at The MARINE Shop.

Sense of Duty Collection

The Sense of Duty Collection will be a series of ten paintings honoring our service men and women that evoke the body’s five senses: sight, sound, taste, touch, taste, and smell. The MARINE Shop will debut two paintings each year beginning in 2021.

The Artist – Nicole Horn

Nicole Horn is the unofficial Leatherneck Magazine artist in residence whose work was featured on the cover of Leatherneck Magazine’s 100th anniversary issue — the Semper Fidelis painting.

Her Sense of Duty collection was inspired by her father’s Naval service, a middle school field trip to Arlington National Cemetery, and a desire to honor American service members who have given so much to our country.
