Selected Marine Corps Reserve Ammunition Technician of the Year
Sgt Regina I. Ibanga
Sergeant Regina Ibanga is a native of Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from Wichita High School Southeast and began her academic career at Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kansas, earning associate’s degrees in Accounting and Sports Administration. In August 2010, she transferred to North Greenville University in South Carolina, where she played collegiate soccer and completed a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Sergeant Ibanga enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in November 2014 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, as a member of the 4th Recruit Training Battalion. Upon graduation, she was promoted to the rank of Private First Class. In May 2015, she completed Marine Combat Training at the School of Infantry–East, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and subsequently attended Ammunition Technician School at Fort Lee, Virginia, earning the MOS 2311, Ammunition Technician. In September 2015, Private First Class Ibanga reported to Detachment 1, Supply Company, Greenville, South Carolina. She was promoted to Lance Corporal in November 2015 and completed the Lance Corporal Seminar that same month. During this period, she served as a Team Member at Camp Henoko Ammunition Supply Point and later as a Fire Team Leader and Storage Section Leader during RITX 418. She was promoted to Corporal in October 2020. From April to June 2021, she mobilized with TECOM, Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot Parris Island, South Carolina as a Troop Handler for ROTO 2 Task Force. She subsequently augmented to the Center Magazine Area aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California from July to November 2021, serving as Storage Section Leader. From December 2021 to April 2022, Corporal Ibanga mobilized to Quantico, Virgina with SECFOR Task Force in support of “Operation Allies Welcome”, serving as a Security Forces member while simultaneously holding the billets of Ammunition NonCommissioned Officer in Charge and Battalion Ammunition Ammo Chief. She completed Corporals Course in January 2022 aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico. In May 2022, Corporal Ibanga began Active-Duty Operational Support orders attached to Detachment 1 Supply Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 451, crosstraining as an Administration Clerk to mitigate staffing shortages and serving as the unit eQual NCO. October 1, 2022, Corporal Ibanga was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Sgt Ibanga graduated from Sergeant School in December 2022 in Camp Lejeune, North Carlonia. In May 2023, she assumed the roles of Career Planner and Detachment Color Sergeant. By January 2024, she had taken on the billets of Site Support Operations Chief and Training Clerk. In May 2024, Sgt Ibanga served as Storage Section Leader during Exercise “Whiskey Run” aboard Camp Lejeune. In March 2025, Sergeant Ibanga reported to 4th Marine Division in New Orleans, Louisiana assigned as the Division Ammunition Chief and Division Color Sergeant. In this capacity, she oversees the Division’s ammunition enterprise, providing technical expertise, program oversight, and seniorlevel advisement to the Division staff and subordinate units. Sergeant Ibanga’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals with two stars in lieu of third award.
Selected Marine Corps Reserve Ammunition Staff Non-Commissioned Officer/Officer of the Year
SSgt Theodore Kleniewski Jr.
SSgt. Theodore Kleniewski Jr. began his Marine Corps career in May 2011 by enlisting at RSS Colonie out of upstate New York. He enlisted after receiving his associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College. He began Recruit Training in February 2012 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island South Carolina. SSgt Kleniewski served as an Aviation Maintenance Data Specialist (AMDS) with Marine Aerial Refueler Squadron VMGR-425 in late 2012.
SSgt Kleniewski served at VMGR-452 until 2018. During his time there he also acquired
the MOS 0933 Combat Marksmanship Coach in 2014 in Quantico, VA. 2 Years later he returned and received the 0931 MOS Combat Marksmanship Trainer. In addition to his primary role in the squadron, he performed these collateral billets to improve readiness within the squadron for their annual rifle or pistol qualifications. SSgt Kleniewski was meritoriously promoted to the rank of Sergeant in February of 2017, and became the AMDS Reserve NCOIC, where he oversaw a team of 6 Marines.
In late 2018 coming to the end of his enlistment SSgt Kleniewski was notified of a Unit Deployment Program for 1st Battalion 25th Marines where they had critical short falls in their manning power. Sgt Kleniewski volunteered himself for the deployment and
reenlisted in 2019 and performed a lateral move into the 2311 MOS, Ammunition
Technician. He graduated the school house as the honor graduate in July of 2019 and
then departed to 29 Palms to join 1st Battalion 25th Marines to finish out their
deployment work up. During the UDP SSgt Kleniewski served as the Ammunition Chief
for several major exercises. In January of 2020 he was the lead Ammunition planner for Northern Viper 20, where he oversaw 3 separate units ammo accounts. In February to March of 2020, he served as the ammunition chief for Marine Aviation Support Activity 20 (MASA) in the Philippines. In June of 2020 SSgt Kleniewski returned to 1st Battalion
25th Marines and assumed the Battalion Ammunition Chief Billet. From 2023 to 2025
SSgt Kleniewski supported 3 Integrated Training Exercises (ITX). Twice at the Marine Air Ground Task Force Ammunition Chief (MAGTF) and once as the 4th Marine Division Ammunition Chief. In late 2024 SSgt Kleniewski served as the Littoral Warfare Command (LWC) Ammunition Chief in support of UNITAS 2024. As of February 2026, he has now assumed the billet of the 25th Marine Regiment Ammunition Chief.
SSgt Kleniewski’s professional military resident education includes Marine Combat
Training (2012) Corporals Course (2014), and Sergeant’s School (2019). He holds 2
additional MOS’s as a Combat Marksmanship Coach & Trainer 0933 and 0931 respectively. SSgt Kleniewski’s personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (with two gold stars) and Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal.
Ammunition Technician of the Year
Cpl Arshdeep Kaur
Corporal Kaur was born in New Delhi, India, on August 3, 2005. After graduating from Kent Meridian High School in Kent, Washington. Corporal Kaur enlisted in the Marine Corps on June 6, 2023, and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot – San Diego on September 18, 2023, for Recruit Training. Following her completion of Recruit Training, she attended Marine Combat Training, School of Infantry – West. On March 10, 2024, Private First Class Kaur reported to Bravo Company, Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia for Ammunition Technician. On June 10, 2024, Private First Class Kaur graduated 2nd in her class finishing as an Honor Graduate. After completing the Ammunition Technician Course, Lance Corporal Kaur reported to 7th Engineer Support Battalion (7th ESB), Camp Pendleton, California, where she was assigned to Headquarters & Service Company. While serving at 7th ESB she participated in Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 2-25. And supported multiple inspections and ranges. She was promoted to Corporal on August 1, 2025. In November of 2025 Corporal Kaur was appointed as the Battalion Ammunition Chief; she planned and supported an ordnance movement for Marine Corps Engineers Detachment – Pacific. Corporal Kaur is currently deployed in support of Operation Epic Fury. Corporal Kaur’s Personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Ammunition Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year
Sgt Chardonnay M. Schwartz
Sergeant Schwartz was born on June 22nd, 2001 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from High School in June of 2019. Sergeant Schwartz enlisted in the Marine Corps in August 2020 and attended recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Papa Company. She reported to the School of Infantry Camp Geiger, North Carolina for Marine Combat Training in December 2020. She was then assigned to Fort Lee, Virginia for Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) training where she graduated and earned the MOS of 2311 Ammunition Technician. In May 2021, Private First Class Schwartz reported for duty at the Center Magazine Area (CMA) Headquarters Battalion, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twenty-nine Palms, California. She was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal in May 2021. Where she served as an Ammunition Technician for the CMA. In March of 2022, Lance Corporal Schwartz was promoted to the rank of Corporal. During this time, she served as the Operations Non-commissioned Officer in Charge for the CMA. In September of 2023, Corporal Schwartz was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. She remained at the CMA to assume the duties of the Issues, Segregations, and Dispositions (ISD) Chief. In December of 2024, Sergeant Schwartz reported for duty at the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), I Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), Camp Pendleton California. She is currently working as the Ammunition Chief, S4 Training Non-commissioned Officer, Barracks and Facilities Manager, and assists managing the Marine Corps Martial Arts program at the unit. Sergeant Schwartz’s Personal Awards consist of (1) Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, (3) Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, (1) Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, (2) Certificate of Commendations, and (24) Letters of Appreciation.
Ammunition Staff Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year
GySgt Jacob R. Racisz
Gunnery Sergeant Racisz enlisted on July 10, 2010, in Detroit, Michigan and attended 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, Fox Company, at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Upon completion of recruit training, Gunnery Sergeant Racisz attended Marine Combat Training, Gunnery Sergeant Racisz reported to Ammunition Technician School, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama where he was trained as an Ammunition Technician and graduated in February of 2011. Following Completion of MOS training, Gunnery Sergeant Racisz was assigned to Ammunition Company, 2nd Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 25, 2nd Marine Logistics Group where he served as a Team member, Team leader and Section head. Gunnery Sergeant Racisz executed orders to Marine Forces Pacific at Camp H. M. Smith Hawaii in February of 2014. There he served as the Ground ammunition training Non-Commissioned Officer. Throughout his time at Marine Forces Pacific he conducted operational level logistics retrieving data, compiling and validating Class V(W) ground ammunition requirements for Major Combat operations plan requirements, Supportability assessments and prepositioning of ammunition stockpiles. Gunnery Sergeant Racisz was assigned to Marine Corps recruiting Command Recruiting Station Lansing in June of 2016. In January of 2018 Gunnery Sergeant Racisz was selected to become the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Recruiting Sub Station Cadillac where he oversaw the production of Three Canvassing recruiters. After his successful tour as a Marine Corps recruiter Gunnery Sergeant Racisz was assigned to 8th Marine Regiment, Camp Lejeune, NC. Serving as the Regimental Ammo Chief for 8th Marines, Gunnery Sergeant Racisz deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Freedoms Sentinel and Resolute support Mission in October of 2019. During his tour he served as the Regimental Ammunition Chief for Task Force Southwest. In January of 2021 Gunnery Sergeant Racisz Check into 2nd Supply Battalion 2nd Marine Logistics Group where he served as the Receipts, Issues and Segregations Chief. In October of 2022 Gunnery Sergeant Racisz executed order to 10th Marine Regiment 2nd Marine Division where he served as the Regimental Ammunition Chief and assisted the Regiment as the Facilities Supervisor. Gunnery Sergeant Racisz personally trained and developed 45 ammunition technicians across not only the regiment but the division in ammunition operations and management, leading to his regiment and its subordinate battalions receiving the highest explosive safety inspection results of any unit within 2nd Marine Division over the last decade. In January of 2024 Gunnery Sergeant Racisz executed orders to Marine Air Ground Combat Center Twenty-Nine Palms to serve as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge and Operations Chief of the Center Magazine Area. While serving as the Operations Chief he directly supports all training aboard Twenty-Nine Palms to include Service Level Training Events. He conducts direct liaison with foreign militaries to conduct joint training. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with three gold stars and Combat Device, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with gold star and various campaign and unit awards.
Ammunition Officer of the Year
Capt George Hinojosa-Rodriguez
Captain Hinojosa-Rodriguez is a native of Queens, New York and currently serves as Ammunition Branch Head, Training Command. He enlisted in the Marine Corps and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island in April 2005. Upon graduation from Recruit Training and Marine Combat Training, Private First Class Hinojosa-Rodriguez reported to Headquarters Company, 3d Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, and served as a Battalion Ammunition Technician. In 2006, Private First Class Hinojosa-Rodriguez deployed to AR-Ramadi, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal during this deployment. Lance Corporal Hinojosa-Rodriguez was assigned to Headquarters Battery, 3d Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division at Camp Lejeune, NC as a Battalion Ammunition Technician. In 2007, Lance Corporal Hinojosa-Rodriguez deployed to Al-Assad, Iraq. He was promoted to the rank of Corporal shortly after returning from this deployment. In 2009, Corporal Hinojosa-Rodriguez was assigned to Headquarters, The Basic School, Quantico, VA. During his time at The Basic School, he served as the Records Chief, Operations Chief, and Ordnance Platoon Sergeant. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2010 and assumed the responsibilities as the Ammunition Chief for The Basic School. Sergeant Hinojosa-Rodriguez completed the Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Course at the Martial Arts Center of Excellence. In 2011, Sergeant Hinojosa-Rodriguez reported to Drill Instructor School, Parris Island, SC. Upon Graduating he was assigned to Echo Company, 2d Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment. From 2011-2014 Sergeant Hinojosa-Rodriguez served as a Drill Instructor, Experienced Drill Instructor, and Senior Drill Instructor. During his quota, he served as a Marital Instructor for recruits and completed the Marine Corps Martial Arts Instructor Trainer Course at the Martial Arts Center of Excellence. In 2014, upon successful completion of Drill Instructor Duty, Sergeant Hinojosa-Rodriguez reported to Combat Logistics Battalion 26, Combat Logistics Regiment 35. He was promoted to Staff Sergeant shortly after reporting and assumed the duties as the Combat Logistics Battalion 26 Ammunition Chief. In 2016, he deployed on the USS Arlington, in support of the 26th MEU. While debarked in Camp Buehring, Iraq, he directly supported actions in Afghanistan in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. In 2017, Staff Sergeant Hinojosa-Rodriguez reported to Ammunition Company, 2d Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment-25, 2d Marine Logistics Group where he serves as the Storage Chief, and Company Gunnery Sergeant. In 2018, Staff Sergeant Hinojosa-Rodriguez reported to Warrant Officer Basic Course, The Basic School, Quantico, VA. In 2018, Warrant Officer Hinojosa-Rodriguez was assigned to Ammunition Company, 3d Supply Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment-35, 3d Marine Logistics Group where he served as the Storage Platoon Commander, Ammunition Supply Point Storage Officer, and Operations Officer. In 2019, Chief Warrant Officer Two Hinojosa-Rodriguez deployed to Townsville, Australia, in support of Talisman Saber. In 2020, he deployed to Robertson Barracks, Darwin, Australia, in support of Marine Rotational Force – Darwin. In 2021, Chief Warrant Officer Two Hinojosa-Rodriguez was assigned to G4, Training Command and was appointed As the Ammunition Branch Head. In 2022, He was Promoted to Chief Warrant Officer Three. In 2023, he was selected and promoted to Captain, Limited Duty Officer. In 2023, Captain Hinojosa-Rodriguez reported to Marine Forces Special Operations Command. He currently works at the component level G4 and serves in the role of Ammunition Officer for the command. Captain Hinojosa-Rodriguez is married to Jennifer Hinojosa, a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, and together they have 3 children: Geovanni (15), Jasmine (15), and Julius (2). Captain Hinojosa-Rodriguez is a graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School and holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance, from The University of Maryland. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (x4), Combat Action Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal (x3), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and the Drill Instructor Ribbon.
