The Basic School Completes Another Year
ON May 24th the Director presented diplomas to the graduates of the 1937-1938 Course of the Marine Corps Basic School at the Philadelphia Navy Yard.
Behind the brief graduating exercises was spread ten months of study and class room work that began in July of 1937 and which covered the most extensive course ever undertaken by the Marine Corps Basic School.
