Pearl Harbor is Air Mail Junction

BELIEVED to be the large amount of mail trans-shipped by air througth any one port in the world in one month, 841,742 pounds of mail were handled by U.S. Naval Postal Service at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, during October, 1943.
