Address of the Honorable Sumner Welles,

Volume 22, Issue 4
Author:

Address of the Honorable Sumner Welles, Under Secretary of State, Sunday, November 6, 1938, over the facilities of the National Broadcasting Company, 7:00 P. M., E.S.T.

I WELCOME the opportunity which I have been afforded to participate in this series of broadcasts, together with some of my friends from the other American republics, in what I believe to be a most commendable effort to emphasize to the people of all of the Americas the ever-increasing value of our inter-American relations.
