WEATHER AROUND THE WORLD. By Ivan Ray Tannehill. New Jersey: Princeton University Press. 200 pp. $2.50.
THIS book was written for the general reading public by one of the world's leading authorities on the weather. It contains chapters on the various phenomena of weather such as is contained in the usual hooks on meteorology and then presents, in the major part of the book, weather conditions in all parts of the world. It stresses weather conditions over the sea but gives the reader definite ideas about weather in the land areas as well.
