Harbord Portrait Presented to Army and Navy Club

ON behalf of officers and former officers of the Marine Corps who subscribed to the fund for the purpose, the portrait of Major General James G, Harbord was unveiled and formally presented to the Army and Navy Club at notable ceremonies which took place at the Club building in Washington, on the evening of May 7th. The presentation was made by Secretary of the Navy Denby, who wore for the occasion his uniform as major in the Marine Corps. The portrait was accepted by Colonel C. C. Collins, U. S.
