Reserve Gets New Chief

Brigadier General Richard P. Williams, U.S.M.C., will become the new Chief of Reserves-so the Major General Commandant directs-beginning with September. General Williams will be relieved of his present assignment as President of the Marine Corps Examining Board by Brigadier General L. McCarty Little, who is returning from Haiti, where he commands the U. S. Marines stationed there. General Williams was recently Commandant of the Garde d'Haiti, the national army and police force of that country.
