Editorial Notes

Volume 10, Issue 1

WITH this number the MARINE CORPS GAZETTE resumes publication and every endeavor will be made to maintain it in a manner worthy of the Marine Corps. To accomplish this result, the support of a major portion of the commissioned officers of the Marine Corps is necessary. When the Marine Corps Association commenced publication of the GAZETTE, there were less than four hundred officers all told on the active list of the Corps. At present the number is in the neighborhood of one thousand.
