* It was thirty-three years ago when France entered upon her Moroccan adventure. The story of that enterprise is worth while recounting, and should be of special interest to the Marine Corps, for in that land of tropical days and biting nights, the troops in the field have as their theater of war rugged mountains, canyons and swift-flowing streams, or great stretches of desert.
