William Ward Burrows Commandant of the U S Marine Corps, 1798-1804
As a part of the Forty-First Continental Congress of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution the President General of that famous organization, heading the other members present on April 20, 1932 made a pilgrimage to the National Cemetery at Arlington, Virginia, for the purpose of laying a wreath upon the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
