Professional Notes

Volume 11, Issue 4

TWO field radio sets, type SCR 136, have been purchased by the Marine Corps from the Army for the use of Marine Corps aviation units. These sets are mobile expeditionary equipment, and are to be assigned to the Air Squadrons, East Coast and West Coast Expeditionary Forces. The contract has been awarded for the manufacture of these radio sets, but delivery to the Marine Corps has not yet been effected. It is expected that the use of the SCR 136 will facilitate the progress of the recently established Aviation Observers School at Quantico.
