THE MARINE CORPS ASSOCIATION has been in existence since April 25, 1913, when it was organized by a group of officers serving at the time with the Second Provisional Brigade engaged in manoeuvres at Guantanamo, Cuba.

Most people who are familiar with the Association and its history are aware of its value to the Marine Corps and recognize its definite place among Marine Corps activities.

Practically every branch of the service has a similar association and a publication devoted to the particular interests of the branch of the service which supports it.
