The Hawaiian Islands: New Squad Evaluation Tests Combat Readiness

Thirty squads from 1st Battalion, Third Marine Regiment completed a newly developed 22-station squad evaluation at Marine Corps Base, Hawaii in late July.

This is the first evaluation of its type and size to be used by the 3d Marines, and leaders of 1/3 said they hope it will be used as a model for future training.
