The Baltics: New England Reservists in Estonia for Baltic Challenge

Volume 80, Issue 10

They may be police officers, shopkeepers or students in civilian life, but when it's time to put on the eagle, globe and anchor, the Marine reservists who make up Company B, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment are ready for anything.

That kind of commitment has taken these leathernecks to Paldiski, Estonia, to support Baltic Challenge '97, a multinational exercise involving eight different countries.

Although the unit is based in New Hampshire, the Marines of "Bravo" Co come from Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
