In Memoriam: Tom Lovell
Tom Lovell died in Santa Fe, N.M. He was 88.
He was a famed artist of the American West and a Marine who became a member of the Leatherneck staff in the latter part of World War II, completing more than 100 paintings for the magazine before the war ended.
