PHASE LINE GREEN: The Battle for Hue, 1968. By Nicholas Warn Published by Naval Institute Press. 272 pages, 10 photos, three maps. Stock #911. $26.95 MCA Members. $29.95 Non-members.

The author tells his view of the vicious house-to-house fighting at the ancient city of Hue during the 1968Tet Offensive.

Nicholas Warr's viewpoint is that of a green second lieutenant assigned as platoon leader of "Charlie One" of C/l/5 in Hue. His view is often bitter. That's because Charlie One was shot to pieces on a Hue street codenamed Phase Line Green.
