Exhibit Of Southeast Asia Photographs Opens This Month
An exhibit featuring photographs from the Vietnam War, taken by photojournalists who were killed or reported missing in Indochina, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos, will be on display at the Newseum. "Requiem: By the Photographers who Died in Vietnam and Indochina" is a memorial to the men and women who gave their lives while covering the conflict that began with the French Indochina War of the 1950s and culminated with the fall of Phnom Penh and Saigon in 1975.
