In Memoriam: David O. Kamp

Former Corporal David O. Kamp died in Ocala, Fla. He was 49. He was a 20year-old radio operator near Quang Tri, Vietnam, when a bullet severed his spine on Dec. 27, 1968.

Although paralyzed from the chest down, Kamp, according to relatives, never gave up. He was named Outstanding Disabled American Veteran of 1983 in Michigan and was a volunteer for the Easter Seal Society.
