In Memoriam: Elmer L. Thomas

Elmer L. "Captain Tom" Thomas died in Salisbury, Md.

He served in the Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard. As a civilian, he founded and instructed Tom's Charter Captains Courses.

A Baltimore policeman for 28 years, he also hosted a boating sports television show on WMAR in Baltimore and a radio fishing show on WYUS in Milford, Del. He was a writer of fishing news for Coast Press Newspaper.
