In Memoriam: Two Killed in Cobra Crash
Two pilots were killed when their AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter crashed July 27 into the Atlantic Ocean off North Carolina.
Killed were Capt Clark A. Cox, 32, and Capt Jerrell H. Boggan, 30, with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267, based at Marine Corps Air Station, New River, N.C., and attached to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 263 as members of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
