Volume 79, Issue 12

The "Moondogs" of Marine Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 3, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C., jammed the air waves in Joint Exercise Quick Force at MCAS, Yuma, Ariz., July 29 to Aug. 10.

The Moondogs were one of 34 squadrons from the Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force that acted as the air combat element for the U.S. Central Command.

From Yuma, planes flew to either Utah Testing and Training Range near Salt Lake City or Nellis Range near Las Vegas, said Captain Keith Meisenheimer, electronic countermeasures officer, VMAQ-3.
