In Memoriam: James Abner Klein Jr

Former Marine James Abner Klein Jr. died Sept. 30, 1995, in Panama City, Fla. He was 73.

A World War II Marine, he earned two Distinguished Flying Crosses and six Air Medals flying with Marine Fighter Squadron 314 in the Pacific.

Following the war, he became an air traffic control instructor and supervisor at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.

Mr. Klein was buried in Long Beach, Fla.
