Southern California: Vmu-1 Back from Bosnia-Herzegovina

Approximately 140 Marines from Third Marine Aircraft Wing returned to Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, Calif., Oct. 16, aboard two Air Force C-5 cargo planes from a four-month deployment to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The leathernecks had been in the Balkans supporting Task Force Eagle, the U.S.-led contingent assigned to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's Operation Joint Endeavor.
