Recruiting Duty a Path to Success

Volume 79, Issue 3

In front of the Recruiter Training office at Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Washington, D.C., is a cartoon poster depicting two dress blueclad Marines dragging away another Marine. In the foreground, one Marine asks another, "Are they taking him to jail?" The reply is, "No, recruiting duty."

Those who hear about what recruiting used to be may be reluctant to try recruiting duty, but for those bold enough to give it a try, the payoff is worth the price.
