To Our Young Servicemen

Volume 52, Issue 5

So today you're in the service,

And you rank among the best.

You comply with all the orders,

And you're put through quite a test.

There'll be days of disillusion,

And much to reconstruct.

What you apply to your training,

Will show in your conduct.

Maturity's road you're on now,

It's a hard one, you will find.

But rewarding in its manner

If you will give it time.

Life is such a challenge,

And stern in its command,

Indulge in your abilities,

To meet with its demand.

Stand erect, head up high,
