LtGen Lewis W. Walt, III MAF Commander, has tremendous faith in his Marines and they know it. That's why they'll go to hell and back for him.

LIEUTENANT General Lewis William Walt leaned forward in his leathered swivel chair. Lines furrowed his forehead. He spoke slowly. "I can only say that if I didn't believe in what we're doing here, with all my heart, I wouldn't be able to live with the lives that have been taken and the effort that has been expended."
