The softball season at MARINE BARRACKS, NAVAL AIR STATION, LAKEHURST, NEW JERSEY, is well under way, with two victories from as many starts tucked under the fair leather belts of the Marines. The opener, played against the Aerologists, resulted in a well fought 4-3 decision, while in the second game the first division went down before the slugging Marines to the tune of 8-6. Sgt. Ward, elected captain against his better judgment, started Meacham on the mound, who was relieved by the veteran Straight in the first inning. T. J.
