DESCRIPTION:Run\, walk\, row\, or bike 10 miles on July 22\, 2025 to honor the memory of LtCol Mario “Sugar Bear” Carazo. LtCol Carazo made the ultimate sacrifice on July 22\, 2010 when his AH-1W Cobra was shot down while supporting Marines engaged in a firefight in Afghanistan.\nThe proceeds from this virtual event will be split between the Marine Corps Association Foundation and the Sugar Bear Foundation\, which supports Gold Star families and Surviving Spouses.\nThe first 250 participants to complete the event will receive an exclusive race pin with this year’s image.

SUMMARY:Battle of Hue Run 6.8 miles
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nJoin us for the fourth event in our Honoring 250 Years of the Marine Corps virtual run series: the Battle of Huế Run 6.8 Miles. \nOn August 23rd\, participants will run\, walk\, bike\, swim\, or row 6.8 miles to honor the courage and resilience of the Marines who fought in Vietnam.  This distance marks the path from Phu Bai Combat Base to the city of Huế\, a critical route during one of the Vietnam War’s fiercest battles. \nCommemorate the strength of the 1st Marine Division and show that their legacy lives on through every mile. \nRegistration is $30 and the first 250 participants will receive an exclusive race pin based on MCA’s 250th Anniversary Commemorative Coin Series. The pin commemorates the period from 1960-1980.
