The highlight of the evening is the presentation of 6 ammo tech awards to Marine enlisted\, NCO\, SNCO and Officer leaders who made the most substantial contributions to the community during the previous year. \nGuest Speaker: \nEdmundo Mireles\, Jr.\nFormer FBI Special Agent \nDress: \nBusiness or Cocktail Attire \nCost: \n$75 for MCA Members\n$95 for Non-members \nActive-duty service members can register online for free and will also be eligible for a no-cost Premium membership. SUMMARY:Sugar Bear Memorial Run - Virtual Run 2025
DESCRIPTION:Run\, walk\, row\, or bike 10 miles on July 22\, 2025 to honor the memory of LtCol Mario “Sugar Bear” Carazo. LtCol Carazo made the ultimate sacrifice on July 22\, 2010 when his AH-1W Cobra was shot down while supporting Marines engaged in a firefight in Afghanistan.\nThe proceeds from this virtual event will be split between the Marine Corps Association Foundation and the Sugar Bear Foundation\, which supports Gold Star families and Surviving Spouses.\nThe first 250 participants to complete the event will receive an exclusive race pin with this year’s image.
