2008 MCA Ground Awards Dinner

The MCA Ground Awards Dinner is an annual event coordinated by MCA in conjunction with HQMC, Plans, Policies and Operations Department and serves as the opportunity to recognize the professional achievements of each Marine Division's Marine of the Year. Additional awards presented at this dinner include the Leftwich Trophy for Outstanding Leadership which is awarded to a Marine Captain in command of a company or battery size unit, the Chambers Award for Outstanding Leadership by a company grade officer in the Marine Reserve Component and also the Hulbert Award for Outstanding Leadership by a Marine Gunner.
This dinner was the occasion for the very first presentation of the Hulbert Award and was also the first occasion where the Chambers Award was presented at an MCA Professional Event.
