Recipient of the 2006 PFC Herbert A. Littleton Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Trophy for the Operational Communications Excellence
Corporal Lee is a graduate of Johnson City High School, New York in 1999, and from State University of New York at Oswego in 2003. He demonstrated exceptional technical knowledge and dedication to mission accomplishment, while serve as the lead Data NCO for 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines during combat operations in Iraq. His ability to provide reliable and responsive network services, cross-training of peers and subordinates, and set a steadfast example have inspired his fellow Marines. His determination and knowledge helped realize the full potential of the networked systems within the battalion. He was a critical contributor in shaping the battalion’s procedures for integrating data networking technology and equipment into the Command and Control architecture for the Combat Operations Center. He has distinguished himself by his exemplary leadership and peerless technical competence in data communications. Corporal Lee’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the National Defense Medal, and the Iraq Campaign Medal.
