LCpl Maurice Edmonds, from Santa Rosa, Calif., was recognized with the award at the May 10, 2013 Delta Company graduation for 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.

Maj Jim Eddy, USMC (Ret.) is hailing the Marine Corps Association & Foundation name from Minnesota. He submitted a Letter to the Editor to his local paper, the Winona Post. An avid donor, Eddy recognized the Marine Corps Association's Centennial Anniversary and how the MCA has contributed to the Marine Corps throughout 100 years.

Sergeant David Holloway and Lance Corporal Raymond Thomastamayo received quarterly awards from the Marine Corps Association & Foundation as part of the association’s worldwide effort to recognize outstanding Marines.

PFC Nathan S. Trefethan, from Sacramento, Calif., was recognized with the award at the April 19, 2013 India Company graduation for 3d Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.

LCpl Daniel B. Horvath was recognized with the award at the April 5, 2013 Fox Company graduation for 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruiting Depot Parris Island.

The Marine Corps Association & Foundation, will hold the 10th Annual MCA&F Ground Awards Dinner on Thursday, 6 June at the Hilton Crystal City, Arlington, VA 22202.

Founded in 1913 with the aim of fostering Marine professionalism, knowledge of military arts and sciences and to promote the traditions of the Marine Corps, MCA has served the Corps for one hundred years. Still committed to the purpose established by founding leader and legend of the Corps, LtCol John A.
