MCA Staff - Bob Hill

Bob was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated from Cleveland State University with a BBA. Shortly after graduation, Bob enlisted in The Marine Corps and completed his basic training at Parris Island, SC, his advanced training at Camp Lejeune, NC and was assigned to 2/9 and in 1965 headed to Viet Nam. After 13 months in Viet Nam as an M79 grenadier, Bob returned to Camp Lejeune to join their fiscal office and earned a Meritorious Mast before his honorable discharge.

After leaving The Marine Corps, Bob began his non-profit career with the National Restaurant Association as a Senior Programmer, soon promoted to Manager of Data Processing. Seventeen years later, and after two additional non-profit assignments, Bob joined the MCA in October of 2006 as a Database Administrator. After one year, Bob was promoted to Director of Information Technology, the position he currently holds today.

Bob lives in Northern Virginia with his wife Stephanie. They have three children, and four grandchildren. Bob's brother, Alan, retired from The Marine Corps after 22 years and Bob's nephew, Aaron, remains on active duty with The Marine Corps.

Bob's holds a private pilots license, a NASCAR license, and enjoys weekend RV camping trips with his grandchildren.
