Old Photos
My father-in-law recently passed away at the age of 92. His name was Pat Denman and he was an illustrator for the Leatherneck and worked beside Tom Lovell during World War II. I have many pictures that were used in staging illustrations for the covers and articles in the Leatherneck from the 1940s. Does any one know of a museum or other entity that would be interested in these. I hate to throw them away. Linda Denman- denman@mindspring.com
Old Photos
Mrs. Denman- we regret the loss, but please send us an obit from a local paper and we can publish a notice of his passing in Leatherneck magazine in our "In Memoriam" section. Send the obit as an email attachment to: leatherneck@mca-marines.org.
Rather than throw those old photos away, consider sending them to us at Leatherneck for our archives. We may have some us. Again, contact us at the above email and we can pass along our mailing address.
Best regards
Editor, Leatherneck
