    Default Artillery BN/battery AARs from Afghanistan

    The purpose of this thread will be to identify unit TTPs and "best practices" that remain unendorsed or unrecognized via the official channels (MCCLL, etc.). Artillery battalions (such as 1/11 and 3/10) have only recently returned/are returning to CONUS and have unfortunately paid for lessons learned in the blood of our brothers. Let us pass these lessons on to those units yet to deploy.

    The endstate is for recently deployed artillerymen to post relevant vignettes and recommendations for units currently training in preparation for OEF/New Dawn deployments.

    Default 3/10 aar

    There is a great AAR published by MCCLL from 3/10 and their deployment to OEF. I cannot post it on this forum, but it clearly identifies several good points to consider from an artillery BN perspective. Go the the MCCLL website.
