Some of you have been along with me for my journey as Military Spouse magazine's 2011 Military Spouse of the Year (that's a mouthful :) for the last 5 months. Just this week, nominations have opened for the 2012 MSOY for all 5 branches. I am hoping you will utilize your website and social media outlets to spread the word. By sharing this information, you are one helping to find the next wave of leaders & advocates for the military spouse community & you can recognize those spouses in your own organizations who have done a job above and beyond what is expected of them. The award is based on volunteerism, impact on community, personal sacrifice, and education. The experiences I have had will forever change my life and have given me a platform to work on an education initiative for spouses.
