Subscription Information

Why Subscribe to Marine Corps Gazette?

When John A. Lejeune founded the Marine Corps Association in 1913, one of his stated purposes was “publishing a periodical journal for the dissemination of information concerning the aims, purposes, and deeds of the Corps, and the interchange of ideas for the betterment and improvement of its officers and men.”

The Marine Corps Gazette is the product of that mission. The Marine Corps Gazette is the place to express new ideas, discard old dogma, and even—on occasion—to air grievances. It is the journal for those who want to be “players” in the Corps, who want to contribute ideas to the essential, continual evolution of the Marine Corps by suggesting new policies, practices, and procedures that will let the Corps move ahead and adapt to an ever-changing world.

How to Become a “Player”— Subscribe to Marine Corps Gazette

You may subscribe to the Marine Corps Gazette by becoming a member of the Marine Corps Association (MCA). Membership in MCA includes a subscription to the magazine of your choice (either Marine Corps Gazette or Leatherneck).

Membership in MCA is open to all active duty, Reserve, retired, and honorably discharged Marines. In addition, civilians, businesses, and institutions that are not eligible for membership may still subscribe to Marine Corps Gazette and/or Leatherneck magazines (officer rates apply). Click on the “Subscribe Now” button to the right and complete the online form. (Be sure to select “Subscriber” in the “Branch” drop-down menu.) It's that simple!
