On 21 November, 22 Marines, primarily from reconnaissance backgrounds, graduated from the new Multi-Mission Parachutist Course (MMPC) at Coolidge, AZ.
Michael Thurmond, Freefall Training Coordinator, Marine Corps Systems Command, helped design the MMPC.
The course trains Marines on the new multimission parachute system.
The new course will allow up to 240 Marines to qualify each year for high-altitude jumps in one of ten 4-week classes that will be offered per year.
